Effects of acoustics
Reverberation is reduced and the room acoustics improved through the use of sound-absorbing ceiling sails. The ceiling sails absorb the noise and prevent reverberation off the smooth surfaces. This reduces the noise level and gives the space a pleasant acoustic feel.
The particular advantage of ceiling sails is that they can be suspended from the ceiling and thus absorb sound on both sides, increasing the acoustic effectiveness. The flexible hanging system means they can be suspended from any ceiling. The ceiling sails are individually designed. This means that, aside from acoustic absorption, you can also create a new look for your unused space.
Frame system & acoustic performance
The ceiling sail consists of a printed textile and a sound-absorbent fleece, combined with an aluminium frame. Class A sound absorption is achieved through this installation. We have measured the results in reverberation chambers and can provide you with detailed information.
Flexibility & design
For individual design, the acoustic ceiling sail is printed in high-resolution with your motif. The textile print can be easily exchanged at any time thanks to the tension frame system. This way, you’ll create a completely new look and can adapt the elements flexibly to match the room and colour concept.
Print quality & environmental protection
The textile print is characterised by brilliant colours and a high-resolution printing quality, and is wrinkle-free and is washable up to 30°C. Environmentally-friendly, water-based inks are used in the printing process. The acoustic material is also environmentally-friendly and has been awarded the Öko-TEX® 100 certificate. It is hypo-allergenic, free from gas-releasing agents or flying fibres, and does not contain any chemical binding agents.
The product satisfies fire protection class B1 (low flammability) in accordance with DIN 4102. Please contact us if you require a higher level of fire protection.
